Greetings! I'm Pastor Ken Benjamins and I'm so happy to have started my ministry here at Riverside in the summer of 2025.

My wonderful wife, Mary Ann, and I live in a sweet little bungalow in Smithville. We have five children, and we're so proud that they're all out on their own now. Four of them are married, and two have even started their own families all the way in Australia! The greatest joy, of course, is being grandparents to our fourteen beautiful grandchildren. We cherish every moment with them.

I've been in ministry since 1992 and it's been a true blessing. Before coming to Riverside, I had the privilege of serving churches in Wyoming, Jarvis, Brantford, and Dundas, all right here in Ontario. There is no greater honor than to share the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, shepherd God's people, and work to advance His kingdom in all areas of life.

A passage that's particularly close to my heart is Psalm 130. And when I'm not preaching or pastoring, I enjoy biking and camping with Mary Ann. And many evenings while I help clean up after dinner, listening to my favourite Christian hymns and contemporary worship music. I look forward to getting to know all of you better!
